In compliance with the provisions of Article 36 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of May 10, 2023, regarding general product safety, REAL EARTH STORIES S.L. informs consumers and economic operators of the adoption of a voluntary recall measure for the following cosmetic products:

Affected products:

  • OIL BALANCE – Ref. CPNP 5384651
  • BLONDE HENNA – Ref. CPNP 5368858

Affected batches:

All batches marketed since 2023.

Reason for the recall

Following a request from the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS), within the framework of file Ref. PS/BDB-CBV-CM 1502/2025 (2), deficiencies have been identified in the technical documentation regarding the safety assessment of the products in accordance with Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.

In particular, shortcomings have been detected in:

  • Physicochemical specifications of the finished product.
  • Assessment of potential impurities and contaminants (heavy metals, pesticides, or other traces).
  • Toxicological basis used for the calculation of the Margin of Safety.
  • Usage information and adequate labeling instructions.

Potential risk

To date, no serious incidents related to these products have been reported.

However, as a preventive measure, this recall is being adopted to ensure the highest level of consumer health protection.

If you possess any of the indicated products:

  1. Do not use it.
  2. Keep the packaging.
